Martin Luther King Jr. is one of Chicago’s most famous citizens. He wasn’t born in the city, but moved here in 1966 and made it the focus of one of his campaigns, the Chicago Open Housing Movement. In honor of one of the great leaders from the civil rights movement, the museums of Chicago have free admission on Martin Luther King Day. Stop by any of the following museums on Jan. 20th and get in free with a valid Illinois ID.
