Time flies when you're having fun! It doesn't seem like it's been 40 years since the beginning of Pac-Man...but it has. Come out and join Chicago Gamespace as they take a look back at Pac-Man, and explore what made it great. What began as a small idea in Tokyo, eventually came to reshape and entire culture. Where would the video game world be today if it wasn't for Pac-Man? This exhibit will have playable arcade cabinets, memorabilia, console titles, and so much more.

In addition, there will be an area featuring featuring over 20 artisans that use eco-friendly materials for their work. Monet is an artist whose career is intertwined with Chicago. From the time his paintings were seen at the Inter-State Industrial Exposition in Chicago, it didn't take long for the buzz to begin. Over the years, many collectors, both local and international, began to chase after Monet's work. In celebration of this great artist and his roots to Chicago, the Art Institute explores his connection to this great city.   Admission to this exhibit will require the purchase of a $7 ticket in addition to general admission.
